ASSOS

Transforming the rider has been the driving ambition of ASSOS of Switzerland since 1976, when Toni Maier set foot in a Zurich wind tunnel to test his radical new design: a bike frame featuring teardrop-shaped tubes and a bullhorn handlebar. The prototype went on to become the world’s first aerodynamic carbon fiber bicycle frame, and more importantly, it served as a catalyst for identifying the real drag-inducing culprit: cycling apparel. Maier recalibrated, set on improving the materials riders were putting on their bodies. He looked at skiing for inspiration, drawn to the race suits being worn by the Swiss national team. He adapted the concept to cycling, developing the first Lycra shorts and anatomical skinsuit in the process. ASSOS was born. translate in italian

VAN RYSEL

The Van Rysel story begins in the French capital of Flanders, just a few kilometres from the iconic cobbled sectors, including the world’s most legendary one-day race. A land of cycling par excellence, where every hill and cobbled road tells stories of epic races and legendary cyclists. Founded in 2019, V┃R is aimed at all cyclists in the world, whatever their level, goal or vision of cycling. 100% passionate, the Van Rysel team embodies and expresses on a daily basis, a spirit of conquest and tenacity. Its approach is guided by product excellence, capable of rising to the greatest challenges.

ARENA

The arena brand was created by sports visionary Horst Dassler, son of the Adidas founder and President of Adidas France. During the 1972 Munich Summer Games, Dassler was on the pool deck when Mark Spitz won his historic 7 gold medals.

Dassler, along with the rest of the world, found himself in awe because not only was Spitz the first athlete to win 7 golds in one Olympiad, but at the same time he set 7 new world records. Dassler immediately started forming plans for a swimwear company dedicated to aquatic sports and created the new performance swimwear brand known today as arena.

KIPRUN

BTWIN

B’Twin is a trademark of Oxylane, which also owns Decathlon. Not far from Paris there is a place that also challenges the East. It is the heart of B’Twin, the French brand of great distribution. Between the suburbs and city lays the B’Twin Village. A village dedicated to bicycles, where the bicycle and its accessories are mounted and built but, before that, thought!
