For nearly a decade, DBS Group has been a key player in Albania’s business landscape, and today stands proudly as one of the country’s largest textile companies. This Thursday marked a significant milestone as DBS Group inaugurated a new phase in the industrial development of sports clothing in Albania, celebrated through a ceremony attended by esteemed partners including representatives from government institutions, the diplomatic corps, academia, as well as industry and export associations.

During the inauguration, Elidon Avrami, General Manager, highlighted the collaborative effort that made the DBS Albania project possible, underscoring the close partnership with renowned entities such as the French sports giant, Decathlon, and other international strategic allies including Salewa, Crazy Idea, Castelli, Ale’, Karpos, The North Face, Arena, and more.

Gabriele Canton, the President of the Group, emphasized DBS Group’s commitment to employment standards and its workforce. He announced the opening of a new center dedicated to ancillary textile production processes, covering an impressive area of 5,600 m2, which seamlessly integrates with their existing factories in the industrial area of Tirana.

With a collective footprint of 14,500 m2 and approximately 650 employees, DBS Group solidifies its position as the leading company in industrial clothing production in Albania. The commitment to strategic partnerships, community welfare, and environmental responsibility remains at the forefront of DBS Group’s activities in the country.
